If you want to be good at something, you first need to set clear goals, and then be willing to work for them.

Our story

You can only become a good consultant with years of hard work, continuous learning and openness to new things.

2004

How it all started ...

First steps in consultancy

The story of the first steps in consultancy started in 2004, when we, as young and determined entrepreneurs, started gaining knowledge by preparing simple business plans and consulting for unemployed people who wanted to start their own business.

2006

International dimension

International connections

In 2006, we embarked on a joint business journey with Austrian partners who wanted to transfer their knowledge to Slovenia.

2008

Expanding the network

Advanced projects and public calls

We moved from simple consultancy engagements to preparing more complex business plans, helping companies applying in various public calls, preparing investment documents for various institutions, developing different strategies, etc. We have tried to gain a breadth of knowledge through a variety of projects that we have been able to connect in a meaningful way.

2012

Two pillars of sustainability

Environmental and energy conservation

Quite soon our services expanded from financial consultancy to also include consultancy on environmental and energy conservation. Every project on which we have worked with companies or other institutions has focused on achieving objectives linked to the two pillars of sustainable development (economic, environmental) that we know today.

2018

Third pillar of sustainability

Sustainable development

Knowing that we can only become good consultants by continuously learning, we have dedicated a lot of our free time, or rather almost all of it, to researching and learning about sustainable development. Our research showed that Slovenian companies have the biggest shortcomings and perform poorly in areas covered by the social pillar of sustainable development. By educating and advising in this area, we can close the consultancy loop for the sustainable development of companies or institutions.

Expertise and support in sustainability Reporting

With our registration in the SPIRIT database, we are recognized experts in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of products, services, and organizations according to the GHG protocol. As qualified lead auditors, we conduct internal and external audits to achieve and maintain the ISO 14001 standard, and provide support in preparations for environmental assessments. We assist companies in aligning with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and in preparing sustainability reports according to European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

FAMILY FUN – our sustainability story

I started working on and researching sustainable development in 2012 (while preparing my master's thesis and later my PhD). My main work is consulting for companies and helping them with all three pillars of sustainable development. I believe that one must also act as an example, and that only talking and consulting is not enough.

In 2015, an opportunity arose to purchase the property where Family Fun apartments are now located. The building (in the heart of our beautiful small town) had been empty for 20 years. The purchased property was in an extremely poor state of repair, with no water or plumbing, so only four external walls were preserved during the renovation, and everything else had to be rebuilt. I believe that buildings need to be renovated and given a new content. We cannot keep building new things and spending natural resources, which are not unlimited.

We spent a lot of time thinking about how to fill these spaces. For me, social responsibility is about the knowledge and free time that we can or should share with our environment to help develop the place where we live. My family and I have never been bored in and around our town. We have always had a long list of activities to do together, exploring and spending beautiful moments in the great outdoors. This is how the idea was born to design the property for families looking for an active vacation. This is how our first apartments in Ruše were born. The name of the apartments tells you that families are our target group. We have travelled a lot and we mostly stayed in apartments, because we found them to be most suitable for our family, bringing us together the most. We wanted the apartments to have everything that positively surprised and impressed us on our travels. On the other hand, we tried to provide what we thought could be useful for the families staying here.

This is our story of social responsibility and sustainable development.

We hope you enjoy your stay in our apartments and that all our work is rewarded with a smile on your face when you leave, thinking what a wonderful holiday you had in our town.

PhD thesis of our director, Dr. Sabina Žampa

Dr. Sabina Žampa received a prestigious award from the University of Primorska for her doctoral dissertation, which was chosen as the best doctoral work of that year. The dissertation, titled "Subsidies and Performance in Sustainable Business Development," demonstrates an outstanding theoretical-conceptual approach, empirical-analytical originality, and practical applicability in the studied field.

Her work deserves this award due to its exceptional quality and originality, focusing on analyzing the significance and impact of subsidies on financial performance and sustainable business development in Slovenia. Particular emphasis is placed on subsidies for research, development, innovation, and sustainable business development. Based on the results of the empirical analysis, a structural equation model is designed, illustrating the possibilities for achieving greater efficiency of subsidies in the areas of RRI and sustainable development.

The dissertation merits the award because of (1) its scientific-research relevance, a developed theoretical-conceptual model, empirically tested with statistical-econometric methods and structural equation models; (2) its extensive database and the application of empirical-analytical originality, combining three types of data; (3) the professional and practical applicability of the results.
